February Artist of The Month: Bedelgeuse
"Just Breathe" by Bedelgeuse It was only about 3 months ago that I stumbled upon this art collage titled "Just Breathe" by Travis Bedel (best known by his artist name, Bedelgeuse) pinned on Pinterest. It was nothing that I have ever seen before. I was absolutely moved by the piece and actually cried. I am not mad, I had a reason. This art piece brought out emotions that I had about my Dad. Both the sadness of suddenly losing him to interstitial lung disease and the happiness, beauty, and life he graced us with while he was alive. Just like the flowers that we are able to admire for a short while; this art work reminded me to live in the moment, to embrace the now that we have with each other which can easily be drowned with foolishness.
